This is a class pointing to the CONTENTS of the text. Therefore, it is quite different from the classes sub BibliographicDescription, which refer to the metadata (catalog fields) only. A WrittenWork can refer to either a WorkDescription (as in the case of a manuscript), or - more often - to an InstanceDescription, since the latter contains the text of a published edition.
